PETA is completely insane

Ben and Jerry's cruelty: Exhibit A

According to a report today from WPTZ news, it has come to my attention that PETA is even more insane than previously thought:

“People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals sent a letter to Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, cofounders of Ben & Jerry’s Homemade Inc., urging them to replace cow’s milk they use in their ice cream products with human breast milk, according to a statement recently released by a PETA spokeswoman.” more

I’m sure you agree that anything requiring women to take off their tops is a good thing, but I really don’t think this is the best way to do it. Usually the girl has to have had a baby to get that milk, and nobody really wants that. You’ll be paying a lot more for the kid than you would if you just used the inhumane cow milk. So, from that standpoint the milk of a tortured cow really isn’t so bad. Plus, it is pretty tasty. Not to mention pasteurized. I love the taste of chemicals in all my foods. Mmmmm.

Bond…James Bond 1-7

I recently picked up all the remastered Ultimate Edition DVDs of the James Bond films from an Ebay auction. I’m not exactly careful with these types of things. I bid on a whim, and then promptly forgot about the thing. Five days later, my inbox displayed an email telling me that I won. Oh sweet. I was now out around $130. On the bright side, I got all 22 Bond films, and I consider myself a pretty big fan of the series. Over the last couple of weeks I have been watching the movies, and I thought I’d share my thoughts with both of you who read my blog.

If I had to rank the Sean Connery films in order from best to last they’d go something like this (I’m also throwing in Lazenby’s film as it falls between two Connery movies):

1. From Russia with Love
2. Goldfinger
3. Dr. No
4. You Only Live Twice
5. Thunderball
   
6. Diamonds are Forever
7. On Her Majesty’s Secret Service
8. Never Say Never Again (an unofficial film)

Not Dead Yet

Despite popular belief, this blog is not quite dead yet. A combination of vacation, school, applications, and general laziness have all prevented me from doing any updates. However, things are starting to get back to normal now. Eventually, something will really piss me off and I’ll have a lot to write about. I have some non-piss-me-off things to mention, too, but it’s really not as much fun writing about those, you know? Expect some updates soon.
