1. He has no job and collects unemployment and sits at home all day.

2. He does illegal drugs in the apartment

3. He invites shady people over {like drug dealers}.

4. He leaves his dishes in the sink for days. (sometimes he doesn’t even get them to the sink)

5. He leaves shit scattered all over the living room, kitchen, and laundry room.

6. He’s fat and disgusting to look at.

7. He sometimes smokes in the apartment and thinks I won’t smell it

8. He got a dog that I told him I don’t want (were not supposed to have dogs at this apt. anyway).

9. He always wakes me up when I’m sleeping before I have to work. (whether it’s from his dog yelping because he beats it or the loud T.V.

10. He always leaves MY big screen tv on all night and it ruins the color tubes.

11.He has no respect for anyone or their things.

12. He had the fucking nerve to ask me to loan him money.

13. He takes my beer and says he’ll pay me back for them, he never does.

14.I constantly clean up his fucking messes and he just makes more.

15.The people he invites over he tells to use my bathroom cause his is fucking disgusting.

16. I hate his annoying laugh, I hate, how he talks, I hate that fucking slob.

Through interaction with a ‘normal’ person and each other, they become somewhat ‘normal’ themselves and just that little bit more capable of dealing with the big, wide, ‘normal’ world. This alone makes it coherent and watchable/readable.

Speaking of which, you’re better off checking out the manga because the anime adaptation is sorta ‘meh’.

I can agree with most of you said but there is a fact noone should ever forget and that is this movie was made in ‘1968′.

The significance of that is, The concept of Artifical intelligence was just beginning to get popular, the space race occupied most of 60s. If we have ever lived on that timeline, we surely would be fascinated by this movie. Not to mention Special effetcts. There were hardly any special effects used on theatrical movies. The long, dizzy CGI crap was made for you to trip through deep space not to bore you. There was even a 5 minute break just in the middle of the movie. I was like wtf?. It was the moment that I realized that this was no ordinary movie.

To sum up, you were meant to be fascinated but due to developing film industry, we are utterly familiar with these concepts and that makes this movie a boring movie.

It plays smoothly, draws you into the plot and can make you laugh, feel good and never put upon by a stupidly powerful boss. The characters have life behind them and you genuinely feel for them.

Okami is not at all like Zelda, trust me on this and I personally prefer it to Zelda. However, playing on the Wii could be disheartening, I would recommend the PS2 version.
And Mr. Brikaus, Okami Amatersaru is supposed to be a good God, and therefore would be content with letting other people be happy without claiming credit, intead bringing joy and life the the land of Nippon.

The music? Beautiful, I personnaly own the Soundtrack on CD and transferred it to my ipod, using traditional japanese intruments and unes makes it that much more authentic.

Third, cutscenes are numerous, but they enhance the gameplay so long you are not only interested in killing green imps or slowing down to appreciate the world you are in. If not they can be insightful and fun.

So, I adore Okami, it is new, exiting and appeals to most of if it’s audience. Furthermore it is beautiful and a joy to play. In Zelda, the same thing but with far less emotional stuff and far more killin’ So I deem Okami a more academic game.
But I guess there is no argueing with Zelda fan-boys. I do recommend trying the old-gen versions if you are getting this title, by the sound of it the main problem is the nunchuck.
